“ I breed Russian (Afhgan) Tortoises, Albino Red Eared Sliders, Greek Tortoises, and Sulcuta tortoises. I have just purchased a pair of Alligator Snappers, Egyptian Tortoises, and Indian Star Toroises. ”
“ I'm currently giving away my Central American Wood Turtle to a good home, and if anyone would like to adopt him/her they can email me their info at: arobles1@csusb.
edu Thank You ~Angel ”
“ My wood turtle is a teenager, LOL. He is eating well, active, and is a healthy well mannered little guy. In the book Turtle and Tortoises of the world the author lists this species as the most beautiful of all the turtle species. He/she can be kept like a box turtle and thrives on a diet of Red-Leaf Lettice/Bannana
's/ and earthworms (which can be picked up at walmart or any fishing supply store). This turtle comes from a captive breeder from Southern California. Regards, Angel M. Robles ”
“ Hey Alex, Sounds like a nice one, I'm going to have to look that one up, I've never seen one. Did you buy it local or have it shipped? Here in TN they dont sell turtles so if I dont catch them myself I have to buy on the internet or out of town at the shows. Your wood turtle, is it an adult? ”
“ Hello Alex, nice outfit. I have not had the oppertunity yet Alex to actually work with the MataMata, I plan to purchase one soon. It will be my first, they are very exspensive. So I'm holding out for a good deal. I have been going to a lot of Reptile Shows in hope getting one fairly cheap. I have studied them for a long time I find the amazing creatures. I hope at some point to be able to breed them in captivity, What kind of turtles do you have? ”
“ Hi Alex,
Thanks for your hospitality today! I enjoyed meeting everyone, and really appreciate all the useful information, including our pond "tour", and our folders to take home...how cool is that? You and Doris did a great job. Thanks to Katie too, for sharing your home with us this afternoon. ”
“ Hey, Thanks for the reply. She seems to be healthy, the issue she has is her shell has several chips. One on the front is right up to the flesh. It looks like she was hit by a mower or a large dog attacked her. My main concerns are proper care as in feeding and habitat. I have one other smaller box turtle & placed the new one with him but now I need a bigger enclosure & I think the bigger one may require a slightly different diet as well. Any info you can give will be appreciated. Thanks! ”
“ Alex and his wife Katie are great fun. It's so nice to see a perfectly happy fun filled young couple. Alex should go do open mic. He has a pristine dry sense of humor. ”
